What is your favourite destination during a yacht charter and why?
My favourite charter destinations are the Adriatic and the Ionian sea. These are seas where there are many safety bays, islands and interesting anchorages. A safe route can always be planned with any weather conditions.
What is your approach to ensuring guests have to best time on board?
Good crew training and crew teamwork.
What is your favourite cuisine style to cook?
My favourite way of preparing food is processing and serving raw and thermally untreated food because I can express my strong points and personal touch in the kitchen. Although, it is difficult to pick my favourite cooking style because I strive to approach each food variant in a way that they keep all of their good values. Both nutritional and considering taste and if I have to choose my favourite style then I pick grill due to It keeping the freshness of the food. Objectively keeping the middle tasty and moist, at the same time maintaining as much of the vitamins and minerals possible to ensure maximum quality meals.
What is the largest number of guests you have hosted on board?
The largest number of guests I have hosted by myself is 12 and that was on yacht although on a mini cruiser I have hosted 36 people with the assistance of my sous chef.
What would you say is your best asset in yachting?
My best asset to the yacht industry is my communication skills, teamwork ability, enjoying every moment with a smile and incorporating a fun/professional environment for guest.
What is a fun fact that nobody knows about you?
I like adrenaline, and things that go fast 🙂
What is your best memory from your yachting experience?
Every experience, good or bad are priceless; to be a part of an integrity team working for a “Champagne socialist” was a good learning experience, and a charter in the Island of Beauty – Corsica with wonderful clients, who came onboard as guests and left as friends.
What is your favourite way to entertain guests on board?
Empathy, socialising, adventure sports and positive attitude are my greatest assets to entertain in a professional manner.
